Fight AIDS

Our vision is to decrease the amount of people infected with Aids in Africa by an possible way.

Mission Statement :      The money raised by the charity will mostly be spent on educating the people of Africa, in order to aware them of Aids in a civilized way, because we believe that education will help preventing it. However, the circumstances in Africa are certainly challenging, especially that the percentage of poverty is high, therefore, shelters should be belt and food supply should be increased.

Our main goal is to decrease the percentage of Aids by 30% by 2016. In addition, about 500 doctors should be provided in each country. Plus, the educated people percentage will be increased by 10%.

 

History

    AIDS was first clinically observed in 1981 in the United States. The initial cases were a cluster of injecting drug users and homosexual men with no known cause of impaired immunity. In the general press, the term "GRID", which stood for gay-related immune deficiency, had been coined.  However, after determining that AIDS was not isolated to the gay community, it was realized that the term GRID was misleading and the term AIDS was introduced at a meeting in July 1982

 

Solutions

Researchers are funded by the charities, and there still is no cure for AIDS. However, there are pills that help for a certain time only.

 

Fundraising

On the 7th of February, a football match will be held between Real Madrid FC and Barcelona FC. The money raised will go to our charity.

On the 7th of March, a concert will be held in Paris, by Eminem and Santana. The money raised will go to our charity.

 

 

ONE MAN HAS BEEN CURED OF AIDS !

In 2007 an HIV-positive man known as “The Berlin Patient” underwent a complex and risky procedure that was designed to treat his acute leukemia. The procedure appears to have also cured him of HIV. We don't know how ! YOUR DONATIONS MIGHT DO !
